About Us
East Hills Bulldogs Junior Rugby League Club (East Hills Bulldogs) is the oldest Club within the Canterbury-Bankstown Junior League. Established in 1951, by our three (3) founding father, East Hills Bulldogs was created as there was no other sporting organisation within the local area for junior sport.
East Hills Bulldogs has a proud and long-lasting history. In season 2022, East Hills Bulldogs celebrated their 71st year. East Hills Bulldogs still call their original ground, Smith Park (Lehn Road, East Hills) their home.
East Hills Bulldogs has players coming from diverse backgrounds with players registering from throughout the local area and community, coming from a wide variety of geographical area. Additionally, many of the East Hills Bulldogs junior players are third or fourth generation. We see many grandfathers who played at our Club, now bringing their grandson and daughters to Smith Park on training nights and game days.
From its humble beginnings, the Club has grown to one of the most successful Club within the local area and from a senior perspective, one of the successful non-professional or semi-professional sporting Club within Sydney Rugby League.
Over the years, the Club has produced many fine players; most recently an East Hills Bulldogs junior, Aiden Sezer featuring in the National Rugby League 2019 Grand Final, as well as Ryan Gray representing the Australia Schoolboys 2018 tour of England, as starting dummy-half. Ryan was the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs Jersey Flegg Captain in season 2021 and is now training with the Bulldogs First Grade team for the upcoming 2022 season and represented Canterbury Bankstown Bulldogs as the starting hooker (#9) in their NSW Cup team, that participated in the in the 2022 Grand Final.
Also, East Hills has one of the highest numbers of players representation in the Sydney Shield and Ron Massey competition.
